Star Flooring and Renovations guarantees flooring installation completed in a professional, workmanlike manner that meets industry and product standards at the time of installation.


This warranty covers installation defects caused by workmanship, ensuring your flooring remains securely in place without lifting, buckling, or separating from the subfloor under normal usage and conditions.

Covered Applications:

  • Laminate
  • Luxury Vinyl*
  • Porcelain Tile
  • Engineered Hardwood


* Luxury vinyl must be a minimum thickness of 5.5 mm or greater.

Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by:

  • Natural Wear and Tear: Normal aging and use of flooring.
  • Environmental Factors: Excessive moisture, humidity, temperature extremes, or prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.
  • Structural Modifications: Any post-installation alterations that affect flooring stability or integrity.
  • Improper Use or Abuse: Misuse, neglect, accidents, heavy impacts, dragging furniture, or scratches from sharp objects.
  • Incorrect Maintenance: Use of non-recommended cleaning methods or products that cause discoloration, fading, or other damage.

All claims must:


  • Be submitted within the warranty period.
  • Include proof of purchase.
  • Be filed by the original purchaser.


If covered, we will repair or replace the affected area at our discretion.
